Candyfloss Martini

Are you going away anywhere nice this year? I've just booked a holiday to Barcelona and thought what better way to get excited than buying your first couple of summer pieces! I've been eyeing up this  bikini online for quite some time, so when I saw it looking all cute and candy like in Topshop today I had to have it. I love the pink and powder blue combination!

I thought my new sunglasses from Urban Outfitters would suit it perfectly. U.O have such a good range of different shapes and styles of glasses, definitely worth checking out. I love the colour and gold detailing on the frame of these. I hope the sunshine that's been coming out to play recently is here to stay!

Have any of you guys purchased any summery items recently?

Beach Waves: Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray Review

''Sexy, salty, sun-dried, wind-swept styles - whenever wherever''
Bumble and Bumble
Winner: InStyle Best Beauty Buys 2013

Hello beauties! I wanted to share with you today my new found must-have product - the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. I have a natural wave to my hair which can be fun, however if I wash and leave it without any product it tends to end up looking like frizz central - not cool.  So, in order to tame my mane I have found sea salt spray to be the absolute best. I have tried and tested a number of these sprays over the past few years, mainly high street brands - from Toni & Guy to Lee Stafford. It has to be said, none of these compare to this gem of a product.

I spritz to wet hair, give it a blast with a hair dryer so it's partly dry and then leave the rest to dry naturally. I'll add a few extra sprays if I'm going out and want a more 'voluminous' look. It can be used on any type of hair - for me personally I would recommend it to you wavy types, it gives your hair  messy curls without having to do a thing. It's so easy and hassle free - and we all enjoy the beach look right!

Check out the Bumble and Bumble website for more products...there's so many I want to get my hands on. They also showcase some really great tutorials for a range of different looks and types. Happy hair styling x

Cross my heart & hope to fly

Happy Sunday everyone! First of all I'm sending apologies as I haven't blogged in a while. February was such a busy month for me; I turned 21 (not sure how I feel about that), had a whole load of uni work on and have been to numerous gigs and nights out which has quite frankly worn me the F out! This is all whilst trying to sort out my career; applying for internships, preparing for interviews blablabla. I'm back though and raring to go! I wanted to share with you my newly purchased item - my DMs - I love them. I've been eyeing them up for ages and have finally got round to handing over the cash. I can't wait to wear these throughout the summer - I'm thinking pretty dresses, ripped shorts, at festivals etc etc. I teamed them with my crochet shorts and pink blouse from Topshop. I really love these shorts, they also look great with black tights when it's a little chilly. I'm sure you all know where my black studded bag is from..Zara of course. It's perfect for me as I can chuck everything and anything in it. We all love a good kitchen sink bag right!

Soo....what is up? Whats the 411? What has everybody been up to? What's the hot gossip?

Jeff Campbell: Tiara Pumps

Do you like my pretty new shoes?

As I'm sure you are all aware, the fierce Jeffrey Campbell heels (or brilliant replicas!) have dominated many a girls shoe collection for quite some time. Incorporating both catwalk and street styles, temptation from the statement  beauties cannot be resisted.

I'd now like to turn your attention to Mr Campbell's flats. I came across this lovely little pair when checking out the Office January sale. At £45 down from £90 - I simply had to. They have now become my favourite shoe - I can't wait for warmer weather to arrive so I can team these up with a cute tea dress. If you're interested, check them out here. Office are also offering them at the discounted price in cream too. They fit like a dream and are such good quality that I think they will last me right through to the end of summer (I plan to wear them a lot!).

So if you love JC designs, but don't love the 6-inch heel - these flats are your answer. Killer spikes (beware!), eye-catching colours and studs galore, they will add personality to any outfit.

Here are my some of my top picks.

'Prospector'

'Captive Loafer'
'Martini'

What do you all think? Are you having a ♥ affair with a pair of shoes at the moment?

California Daze

Hat: U.O  Crop-top: Topshop  Skirt: American Apparel Boots: Chockers Shoes

Here is my wine and dancing outfit! I wore this last night when my lovely friend Daisy and I decided to venture out for some fun after working our butts off with uni work. I had one of those 'I don't like any clothes in my wardrobe' moments, (do you guys ever get that?!) so rummaged through her drawers and found this cheeky little crop-top from Topshop. I love it's simplicity - thank you Dazza! I teamed it with my trusty AA skirt (also featured in previous post 'A Daytime Look') and the studded boots I was lucky enough to receive for Christmas. My new bowler hat is from Urban Outfitters and I was delighted that it was over half price in the sale. I ended up getting it for just £9 with my student discount! Pretty good bargain don't cha think? Everyone should check out their sale at the moment, there's some brilliant discounts. I've also included a picture of the clutch I took out with me, which I purchased when I was in Florence (Italian leather yum <3) and there we have it. We had a great night and today I have felt slightly delicate, but it was so worth it.

Want to check out what Daisy wore last night? Visit her blog here - it's a fab read.

What have you all been getting upto?

Love EVE LOM

'As simple as skincare should be' ....The award winning skincare brand have definitely got this philosophy on point! I was lucky enough to receive this gift set for Christmas and want to share it's amazingness with you all. I'd like to hold my hands up and say I'm NOT one for 'faffy' skincare products - throw me a makeup wipe and some moisturiser before bed and I'm done. However, after reading time after time about the effectiveness of Eve Loms cult product - The Cleanser (shown in photo two) I thought why not give it a go.

The steps

  1. Massage the balm like cleanser all over the face (on top of makeup) and rub in well to encourage healthy blood circulation.
  2. Immerse the muslin cloth in hot water and hold over the face, then rinse - repeat 3 times. (Opens your pores)
  3. Work the muslin cloth in circular movements to remove all traces of makeup/cleanser (Exfoliates)
  4. Immerse the muslin cloth in cold water and hold over the face. (Closes your pores)

Voila! You're done. Removes all makeup (even waterproof mascara) and my skin has honestly never felt softer. I've loved using it the day after a night out (you know dull hangover skin...) Repeated use and you're on your way to 'incredibly glowing, radiant skin with a smoother, more refined texture....' Yes please.

The Daily Collection: Cleanser, Morning Time Cleanser, Kiss Mix, Rescue Mask, Muslin cloth

Eve Lom Cleanser -Made up of mineral oil, cocoa butter and four aromatic plant oils.
Muslin Cloth

One thing - These products are pricey so unless you're rolling in the dollar, ask for a gift set like this one for your birthday/any other time you may be eligible to receive special presents! - They're pretty good value for what you get and I promise you won't be disappointed (This one is £65) Check out gift sets here.

Have any of you guys tried the Eve Lom products? All opinions welcome! Or does anyone know of any other great skincare ranges?

La Dolce Vita...

'The Sweet Life!'
Hi lovely readers. Apologies for the delay in posts recently, I had a hectic last week of uni and then was lucky enough to escape to one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Florence, Italy. I love to travel and this was such a great way to end the year.

I highly recommend anyone that hasn't been - to go go go! The city is beyond amazing with it's artistic and architectural heritage, also noted for being one of the top Italian fashion capitals (the shops and galleries are just <3). All you fashionistas and artisticy types would be in heaven! I don't have much more to say in this post as I hope my photos can do the talking. Here is how I captured Florence, have a look through and let me know what you think. What have you all been getting upto!?

A small note - I hope you are all excited for Christmas! Outfit posts to come so stay tuned xx

In Italy it's encouraged to eat two scoops of 'Gelato' a day - so we did!
Everyone knows Italy is famous for it's pizzas and pasta dishes. YUM.

Just one of the many Gelaterias we visited. So inviting don't you think?
'Strawberries & cream in a chocolate nest' - say no more.
French Martini
Waffle sandwich!
Favourite snap of Florence.
View from hotel room!

This is Pisa - not far from Florence - equally as beautiful.
We visited the 'Leaning Tower of Pisa!'

The Duomo - A distinctive building in Florence seen from many a skyline.
Shine bright
Christmas lights! The large flower-like light is called 'Giglio' and is a famous symbol of Florence.

Art was everywhere we looked!
Street Artiste.
Chanel - Oh I wish!
