What I'm wearing: Jumper - Topshop Skirt - American Apparel Boots - Office Necklace - New Look Coat - ASOS Marketplace Satchel - Camden Market
Firstly, I would just like to say thank you to all those lovely people that viewed and commented on my last post, and for the new follows! I'm just starting out at this blogging thing so any support is great and I love checking out what sorts of things you're all writing about.
So my favourite piece of this outfit has to be my shoes! I've been looking for some winter boots for awhile and when I came across these studded 'Nighthawks' from Office I was like YES. These little beauties were so popular they've been reintroduced in Office a few times since 2010, replicating the designer Chloe 'Susan' boots. The best bit - they are currently in sale at £55 down from £80! Snap them up here - Nighthawk Boots. Additionally, they come in a few different colours so if you're feeling bold you could try the bright red ones or even leopard print.
I'm currently loving the simple jumper/statement necklace look that girls are rocking right now. I'm not a massive jewellery fan but I think this style works really well - this particular one is from New Look teamed with one of my trusty jumpers from Topshop. Alternatively, I think bold necklaces look fab under a shirt collar, what do you think?
American Apparel surprised me when I bought this skirt - we all know the annoyingly pricey labels, however this piece was just £25. The soft jersey material is so comfortable and it literally goes with everything - I wear it on nights out teamed with a crop top (the skirt is high waited), or dressed down in the day with a jumper, as shown here! It has slowly become a staple piece in my wardrobe.
The faux fur cream coat from ASOS Marketplace is one of my latest buys. It's like having the fluffiest blanket wrapped around you it's that warm, I love it. It will most definitely be making an appearance in future posts - so stay tuned!
What have been your latest fashion purchases for the winter? I'd like to have a nose and get some tips!
