Sooo the last time I watched The Cribs was back in August at the Royal Function Rooms in Rochester. The gig was a one-off intimate show for a warm up of their festival appearances. When I say intimate I mean SWEATY BETTY - anyone who was there will probably agree it's the hottest they've ever been! It was such an amazing night and I couldn't wait to see the Jarman brothers again, so when tickets came out for a show at the HMV Institute in Birmingham it was a no brainer.
In a bid to get some decent photos, I attempted to take the slr camera but we got caught on the way in - boo. Luckily my friend was on hand with her iPhone and was able to get some snaps - Thank you Aree! A few songs in and we were shouting along to favourites 'Jaded Youth' and 'Mirror Kissers', The Cribs on top form for their tour finale. I've never seen so many scenesters going crazy for Ryan before! Crowdsurfing was the aim of the game to end the gig - which is an absolutely hilarious experience, especially when you've had one too many sambucas. How I didn't lose anything whilst being thrown over the barriers into mr security man is beyond me.
